Sanda Ayers taught young children for years and she hoped to write entertaining stories with a simple message. Inspired by her life on a small farm in Tennessee, Sanda began writing about her husband, his dog named Goldie, and his faithful red tractor. Soon, the stories of their adventures came to life and Tommy Tractor was born.
